Lorelei Siegloff is an Adelaide based visual artist whose practice encompasses painting and digital media.
Her work explores the tension between traditional and new media with a strong flavour of her spiritual and personal experiences.
In 2006 Lorelei graduated from the Adelaide College of the Arts with a painting major followed by a year of honours at the South Australian School of Art, UniSA specialising in painting and video art.
Her ‘video paintings’ Banquet I & II were selected for the 2007 Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition where she won the City of Adelaide Prize. |
Lorelei was again selected for the Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition in 2008 for her honours work, where she won the 2008 Adelaide Art Society Award.
Lorelei's first major solo video installation, An Orphic Hymn in Three Parts, was shown at the Light Square Gallery in Adelaide in 2009.
In 2010 Lorelei participated in a Helpmann Academy sponsored mentorship with established local artist Dianne Gall.
Her Work Head On is currently touring with the Eutick Memorial Still Life Prize Exhibition.
